Real Purpose

The "Intentionality Ride" runs under the theme "Pedal for the Planet" — uniting two powerful causes, Pedal for Clean Air and Pedal for the Environment, into one green movement. Every kilometre you ride directly contributes to a cleaner, healthier city.

Held at The Glampies, Tumkuru — a lush natural venue that matches the spirit of the ride — this event funds tree planting, supports air quality initiatives, and delivers a fully zero-waste festival experience. Your participation is an act of environmental action.

Preparation Guide

Ride Ready. Ride Safe.

Before the Ride

Know Your Route
Review the route map in advance. Familiarity breeds confidence on the morning of the ride.
Fuel & Rest Well
Eat a solid carb-rich meal the night before. Pack energy snacks and rest up — your body needs it.
ABC Bike Check
Air in tyres, Brakes working, Chain lubed. Do this the evening before AND again on race morning.
Gear Up Properly
Mandatory: front and rear lights (early morning start). Bring a puncture kit, pump, and your bib.

Ride Day Rules

1
Helmet mandatory at all times — no helmet, no ride
2
No earphones or headphones while riding
3
Carry your bib number — required at all checkpoints
4
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your flag-off time
5
Obey all traffic signals — roads remain open to vehicles
6
Ride single file on the left lane at all times
7
This is a purposeful journey — not a race or time trial
8
Call the bib mechanic number for on-route repairs
Rider Responsibility

The event team may halt unsafe riding. All riders are fully responsible for their own safety. Stay with your pace group — this is a purposeful journey, not a race.
